Sock Boy?

Ian is becoming quite an one-liner. The other night, his dad was picking up the socks he and his sister left in the TV room. Seeing his father with handful of socks, Ian said, "Why don't you put a hat on so we'll call you 'Sock Boy'?"

We love "Facing East" in downtown Bellevue. Last weekend, we went there for lunch after light shopping. Ian was pouting that we were having Chinese food again until our friend who works there ordered a Fruit Tea for us. Ian and Angie loved the citrus favored tea. After a cup of tea, Ian lightened up. Angie said, "To be fancy, you need to drink tea like this."

Angie loves Chinese and spicy food. When we were in Jiangxi, I witnessed she chowed down spicy noodle, and I was scared. That noodle dish looked like it could set fire. She also LOVES Kim-Chee. She will run to kitchen every time someone prepares spicy Korean top ramen. Tonight, she discovered Ma Po Tofu. She ate twice as much as usual. This is the 1st time my Ma Po Tofu tastes almost like what I had as a child. I guess my cooking has improved at my ripe age. Eric, Angie, and I cleaned up the whole dish.

The other 1.5 non-Chinese had Mac n Cheese for dinner. A truly diversified dinner table.

Angela-ism

While watching the Rose Bowl, Angie asked we lived in the city or country. I replied we lived in the suburban. She said, "No, I meant in the world, do we live in the city or the country?" I then replied, city. She said, "I think so too. Becasue we don't talk like 'Howdy y'all', we do not live in the country."
